Thanksgiving craft
The Center Library is offering a craft-making activity Nov. 13 from 3:30 to 5 p.m. for children, ages 5-11. Refreshments will be available. The activity is limited to the first 60 who register. For more information, call 255-3885.

ACAP events
General Dynamics
Fort Rucker’s Army Career and Alumni Program is offering a meet, greet and interview with General Dynamics Nov. 14 at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. at the Soldier Service Center, Bldg. 5700, Rm. 185. The company is specifically looking for Unmanned Aircraft Systems operators, training developers/instructors, doctrine developers, supply and logistics personnel and IT professionals. Army Fleet Support
ACAP is also offering a meet, greet and interview with Army Fleet Support Dec. 12 at 8:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. AFS is the aircraft maintenance contractor at Fort Rucker and has openings for maintenance test pilots, aircraft maintenance supervisors, technical inspectors, aircraft mechanics, aircraft maintenance engineers and contract administrator. Those interested must register with the ACAP Office by calling 255-2558.
Briefings
Soldiers preparing to retire or separate from active-duty service must attend Army Career and Alumni Program briefings. The next four-day workshop is Nov. 18-21. Workshops are offered twice a month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and spouses are welcome to attend. Upcoming briefings are scheduled for Dec. 2-5 and Dec. 16-19. American Education Week
Celebrate American Education Week Nov. 16-22 with special activities offered by post education services. Come to a cookout with Troy University, Enterprise-Ozark Community College, Embry Riddle University and Wallace Community College Nov. 18 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bldg. 4502. Learn about educational opportunities available at the Education Recruiting Information Fair Nov. 19 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Soldier Service Center, Bldg. 5700. Troy University welcomes students to join them at a feast and gathering Nov. 20 at Bldg. 4502 at 6:30 p.m. The Education Center is sponsoring a bowling tournament Nov. 21 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Rucker Lanes. The Family Advocacy Program will offer a Stress Management workshop Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to noon at the Soldier Service Center, Bldg. 5700, Rm. 371F. Call 255-3898 for more information or to register.

Lost pet notifications
Have you lost your Family pet? Call the Fort Rucker Veterinary Clinic at 255-9061, the Stray Facility at 255-0766 or the Military Police at 255-2222 and leave your name, phone number and a good description of your pet.

Practical nursing program deadline extended
Wallace Community College Licensed Practical Nurse Program at the Dothan Campus and the Fort Rucker Center will be accepting completed application packets through noon Dec. 22. Respite care providers needed

Army Reserve jobs
The 75th Battle Command Training Division is looking for veterans and retirees to help train Soldiers for combat in Iraq and Afghanistan. Observer-controllers come from diverse military backgrounds and have opportunities to attend career-enhancing military schools. Fort Rucker’s Office of the Staff Judge Advocate Legal Assistance Division is looking for volunteer income tax preparers for the upcoming tax season, Jan. 5-April 15, 2009.
