FRG fundraising event
C Company, 1st Battalion, 11th Aviation Regiment Family Readiness Group members hold video game tournaments Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. in Bldg. 8950. A Mario Kart Wii tournament is hosted for children 3 to 12 years old. Entrance fee of $10 includes meals.
Older participants may play Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 for $15, including meals. Prizes will be awarded for both games.
A Ladies Bunco night with a $10 cover charge is also held Saturday in the same location.

Beginning Painting class
Enterprise State Community College Fort Rucker site staff hosts a new Beginning Painting class every Friday March 19 through April 30, except April 2, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Bldg. 4502, Rm. 140. The class covers using acrylic paints, mixing paints and covering up mistakes. Paints and mixing pallets are furnished. Bring $12 to the first class to pay for canvasses and brushes. SpringFest
SpringFest is held March 19 and 20 on the Fort Rucker Festival Fields. Events run from 4 to 11 p.m. March 19 and noon to 11 p.m. March 20. A Kid’s Fun Zone features inflatables and an obstacle course. Refreshments and live entertainment by Katie Armiger, The Regulars Band, The Mutt Brothers, The Lockdown Blues Band and the 98th Army Band are also provided. Children’s Festival
Families are invited to the annual free Children’s Festival March 27 from 1 to 4 p.m. on the Third Avenue soccer fields. This year’s theme is “Blast from the Past,” and attendees are encouraged to dress in 1940s and 50s outfits. Activities include games and an Easter egg hunt.
