The rhythmic sound of drums and mesmerizing chants bellowing from men dressed in traditional Native American clothing drew people from the local community, as well as from other southeastern states, to the second annual “Honoring our Armed Forces Native American Powwow” last weekend at the Daleville fairgrounds.

CFC 2008 exceeds post goal
Seven instructors were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the U.S. Army Aviation Center of Excellence during the 2008 Instructor of the Year ceremony at the U.S. Army Aviation Museum Nov. 13.

‘Special’ Family proud to serve Army community
Growing up as an Army brat, I learned what it meant to spend holidays away from Family and friends. Our holidays were always what we made them to be. Cards and photos from loved ones were intermixed with our traditional holiday decorations. No matter what, I was always thankful for my Family.
